Where will you travel this summer? Here are some suggestions from our collection.

Here’s a Valentine that’s a little more “snappy.”

These two prints were meant for each other! We love bringing in the spirit of summer for the wintertime holidays.

Truly warm wishes,

MCAM Digitizing Team

Here are two prints we recently (re)found in our collection. The top is a wonderful Baldessari piece which is followed by a beautiful print done by a Mills MFA graduate back in 1974.

We got inspired by one of our new favorite blogs Installator and wanted to share what we’ve been working on today! Usually we’re in the cold collections room, but today we started fabricating something special for our spring show.

“The Pasture” by Andrew Wyeth has spent the day on the collection room table sitting next to Matisse’s “Jazz Suite”. So many beautiful colors in one place!

Some may say that this is a swimmer in Matisse’s “La Nageuse dans l’Aquarium” which is part of his Jazz Suite. We prefer to see a leaping cat with a red “cereal guy” looking on in the corner. Go ahead, turn your computer on the side. Do it.

Here are some vintage patriotic WWII posters that seemed more than appropriate for today. Make sure you VOTE and support Hurricane Sandy relief orgs!

Look what we got as a Halloween treat yesterday!
